The origin of our name, Aran Trophies Awards & Engraving
Our name pays tribute to the Aran Islands, three beautiful rocky islands at the mouth of Galway Bay in western Ireland. Our business was founded by Kieran Begadon while teaching with the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, and in 1969 the business was formally established and incorporated as Aran Trophies Ltd. We’re now known as Aran Trophies, Awards & Engraving with Kieran retiring and his daughter Roxane purchasing the business in 2010.
We aren’t a large, impersonal trophy & engraving company, we’re a family-owned business that takes great pride in every item we produce. This pride is reflected not only in the quality of the awards we produce but also in the personal touch and service we provide to all of our clients. We have worked hard to create a family atmosphere in our workplace, and this orientation extends to the way we treat our customers as well.
Our Diverse Set Of Capabilities
Unlike most award & engraving companies, our capabilities span a broad array of different dimensions for your custom award design project. Including design styles, materials, production methodologies, and form factors, which range from small pins and medallions all the way up to large-scale recognition walls. Our production shop is perhaps one of the most advanced and well-equipped businesses around. Our equipment includes standard rotary engravers, large scale Co2 laser engravers and cutters, a 24×39″ fiber laser for metal marking and engraving, a UV printer for full colour digital printing on almost any substrate, a large format printer for banners and decals and even a 3d Printer for custom awards and prototypes.
Our Creativity And Design
We offer a level of creativity, design and customization that you won’t find anywhere else. We are one of the most digitally progressive companies around, embracing the newest technologies and software providing you with the highest level of customization and communication.
